Imperial Helmet

This fine example of a mid-1st century Roman Legionnaires helm boasts the same classic Gallic styling and hook/carrying handle as seen on the original now on exhibit in Worms, Germany. Our life size helm is hand-crafted of 18 gage steel with brass accents and is fully wearable.

Pugio
Coolus Helmet

The Coolus helmet was a type of ancient Roman helmet. It was produced from brass and was a descendent of Celtic helmet types. It is fairly plain, except for some ridges or raised panels on the cheekpieces. It is globular or hemispherical in shape (some were spun on a lathe rather than hammered to shape) with a turned or cast soldered- or riveted-on crest knob.
